Meet the Team
Rick Mills
Rick is the founder and owner of Access to Freedom. Rick was born and raised in Pasadena and has lived in Southern California his whole life. Now residing in beautiful San Clemente with his wife of over 30 years, Megan and Rick have three grown children and 4 grandchildren, Rick’s primary focus in life has always been his family.
In his free time Rick enjoys spending the weekends with the grandkids and spends time boating and paddle boarding in Dana Point. Rick and his wife both love to travel and have lots of places on their bucket list they have yet to explore.
Kerri Dierdorff
Kerri was hired as a part-time receptionist back in 2014, but it became obvious early on that her skills were in talking with and caring for people. Kerri has taken on a number of invaluable roles here at Access to Freedom including stairlift sales, scheduling all appointments and assisting Rick with the elevator project management. She will be the first point of contact for most of you, and you will see why we say “she has never met a stranger”.
She has two grown kids, Trevor and Delaney, but is in no way ready to be a grandparent. She loves Pina Coladas, and getting caught in the rain….
Matthew Mills
Been installing lifts since 2008 and enjoy working with my hands. On weekends I like spending time with my wife, Jennelle, daughter Halston, and our newest addition due to arrive in mid October. We love Disneyland, exploring new places, fishing, and eating all types of food.
Trish Mobley
Trish joined the Access to Freedom family in 2015, and has become a valued member of the team. Born and raised in the Bakersfield area, she found her way to SoCal relocating to be closer to her family. With a background in Office Administration, she is a great fit as she enjoys dealing with clients, making them feel at ease. She can often be heard stating “I love my job” at least once a week.
Now, semi-retired, she is able to spend as much time as possible with her 3 lovely granddaughters.
Aide Mullins
I am a passionate advocate for social services, which has been a cornerstone of my career and personal life. I have a strong desire to help people and dedicate my time making a difference in the lives of others.
When not at work, I love spending time with my husband Kevin, and our 3 children, Kaylen, Tristan and Maximus. We enjoy Disneyland (a lot), hiking and visiting museums. My love for sunny blue skies and the ocean makes me grateful to be living near the coast in appreciation of all its beauty, striving to live each day with a positive attitude and giving heart.
Ben Ells
Started working with us when he was just 18 years old, and has been installing stairlifts and home lifts with us for over 4 years now, claiming the job has its “ups and downs” (pun intended), but working at Access to Freedom a “good time”.
When not at work, or on a weekend service call, he loves watching hockey and playing tennis and video games. He loves all animals and will gladly let them supervise while he is installing your stairlift.
Anthony Ortiz
Having been in the industry since 2016 working for BART in No. California, in a commercial capacity, made moving into the residential side of the business a new and exciting transition I looked forward to. Installing home lifts and elevators with Access to Freedom for over a year now, I’ve found it so fulfilling and rewarding knowing we are enabling our clients to remain in their homes, comfortably and safely, for the long haul.
In my free time I enjoy working on and restoring classic cars, going to Disneyland, eating good food, working out to keep myself jacked, and spending time with my girlfriend.
Daniel Grace
The newest and youngest member of the team maintains, services and installs the stairlifts. Daniel joined not long after graduating from high school, in August of 2022, and has become an integral part of this Access to Freedom team.
Daniel just adopted a cat, which has become his new sidekick when not at work. He enjoys playing video games, hanging with his friends, and unlike some young adults, truly enjoys being with his family.
